Hiring Process

Your Journey to Joining Our Team

We value every candidate’s time, effort, and interest in Fractional CISO. Our hiring process is designed to be fair, respectful, transparent, and straightforward from application to final decision.

  • Interested candidates can submit a resume through LinkedIn or another listed application channel.

  • Our HR team reviews each candidate’s qualifications, experience, and potential fit.

  • Selected candidates are contacted to schedule a brief phone screening with HR.

  • Candidates may complete an online assessment, which takes approximately 50 minutes.

  • Qualified candidates participate in a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager.

  • Candidates complete a writing exercise because clear and professional communication is essential to serving our clients.

  • Candidates meet members of the team through Zoom or an in-person interview and may complete a role-related skills assessment.

  • Finalists may be asked to complete a criminal background check. We may also contact the professional references provided by the candidate.

  • The selected candidate receives an employment offer and information about the next steps.
